How does the Hair Growth work?

Hair grows in different stages: growing, resting and shedding. Multiple sessions are needed as all of the hair is not in the same hair growth stage at any given time.

What kind of Results can I expect?

Best overall results, versus any other method. Electrolysis doesn’t target the pigment (color) like laser does, but it attacks the hair at the root in the follicle itself. Someone who is not a good candidate for lasers can still get electrolysis. You have to be truly committed to electrolysis because you will need anywhere from 15 to 30 sessions, the more regularly you come the quicker you will get rid of the hair.

Does it hurt?

Everyone has their own pain tolerance, and electrolysis is described as a stinging and pricking sensation in each follicle. It is not considered to be a painful procedure.

Can I have electrolysis while I am pregnant?

Electrolysis is not a contra-indication for pregnant woman, You should always
consult your doctor and have him or her advise you if its ok to have the treatment during your pregnancy.

In between my treatments?

We do not recommend to remove the hair from it’s root as this interrupts the
electrolysis procedure and its effectiveness. Please shave, cut or bleach the hair in between treatments and waxing, tweezing or threading is not recommended.

Proper after care?

Keeping the area clean is very important with witch hazel or any other skin
antiseptic solution that is non-drying to the skin. Use of sunblock with a minimum of 15 SPF is necessary to protect the treated follicles 24 to 48 hours after the procedure.
