The reaction below the skin is that more fibroblasts migrate to the area to deposit more collagen. As a result of the fibroblasts migrating to the treated area; we do not want to administer the second treatment within 4 weeks for fear that we would interfere with the fibroblasts depositing more collagen. Pender Medi Spa recommends 3 to 4 treatments one month apart. The collagen will continue improving the youthful effect for approximately 6 months after the fourth treatment. It is Pender Medi Spa’s experience that another treatment be administered in one to two years to maintain the effect.

The Titan skin-tightening laser is essentially painless with no downtime. Older technologies utilized Radiofrequency like the Thermage. Unfortunately the treatments were extremely painful, expensive, and of inconsistent benefit. Some other Infrared systems lack the sufficient energy to produce significant results.
The Titan laser is the only laser ever to prove an increase in the Elastin content in skin after treatment. The Elastin component maintains the youthful face.
There is absolutely no downtime with IPL, Laser Genesis, or the Accutip laser.
